SV	Opdat gij beproeft de dingen, die [daarvan] verschillen, opdat gij oprecht zijt, en zonder aanstoot te geven, tot den dag van Christus;

Alex	εις το δοκιμαζειν υμας τα διαφεροντα ινα ητε ειλικρινεις και απροσκοποι εις ημεραν χριστου
ASV	so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ;
BE	So that you may give your approval to the best things; that you may be true and without wrongdoing till the day of Christ;

Darby	that ye may judge of and approve the things that are more excellent, in order that ye may be pure and without offence for Christ's day,
ELB05	damit ihr prüfen möget, was das Vorzüglichere sei, auf daß ihr lauter und unanstößig seid auf den Tag Christi,
LSG	pour le discernement des choses les meilleures, afin que vous soyez purs et irréprochables pour le jour de Christ,

Sch	damit ihr zu prüfen vermöget, worauf es ankommt, so daß ihr lauter und unanstößig seid auf den Tag Jesu Christi,
Web	That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;
Weym	so that you may be men of transparent character, and may be blameless, in preparation for the day of Christ,
